Forget the van. Witnesses are notoriously unreliable. This guy is shooting from a distance. He probably has a car parked far from the scene. Witnesses are describing vans speeding away from where the victims are shot. The shooter has not been that close. Everyone is conditioned to seeing vans everywhere. Also, there are a lot of hotels around these interstate exits. Whose to say that this person doesn't stay at a hotel and after he shoots someone simply goes back to his room while the police close down all highways.
