THIS OLD HOUSE is a favorite show of mine and this season they are rebuilding a small house in the boondocks outside of Boston for an elderly couple to live in. As I watch the show, I think, "what in the world are they doing moving out there?" They should buy a one-story condo near the medical center they want to use. That is a cheap cab drive to it. Just read an article about retired people moving overseas to live because it's cheaper. Yeah, and so is the quality of the medical care they will get. Do they want to be on a plane to the States, sick, and trying to hold out until they get here for some top medical care? I don't want to be stuck in Costa Rica talking to an ESL Doctor. That's fine for getting your teeth fixed, but not anything major.
