Macs comprise 50% Japan marketshare? >Xccording to the latest BCN Market View report, among the Japanese retail stores surveyed. iMacs accounted for 49.9% of total unit sales between Jan 23 -Jan 24. Similar surveys in December shows that iMacs accounted for approximately 25-30% of unit sales. Recent surveys show that iMac has been gaining ground since Macworld Expo SF. In each of the three surveys conducted since the Expo, iMac accounted for over 45% of unit sales.The data seems to suggest that some consumers have been anticipating new iMacs and price cut to be announced at the Expo and delayed their purchases until after the event.< appleinvestors.com Yikes!
