What a shame. I think later on we tried to get Japan in particular to help fund the project and they turned us down. Presumably the universe is now accelerating which likely rules out an oscillating universe and suggests probable heat death. The Andromeda and Milky Way Galaxies are still considered to be on a collision course. abcnews.go.com * * *
