What a jackass this Crowley guy is to blame Hillary's ruthless treatment of the press on Bush. It is, after all, the same group that hounded her for her brilliant commodities 'trading,' Whitewater, travel office, etc., etc., ad nauseum. With so many rattling skeletons in her closet, and so many ethical lapses, Hillary is well served by intimidating the press.

Like the lap dogs they'd like to be, they wait for some affirmation that they are on an inside track, loved by Hillary. It was telling and sad that a group of them were thrilled when she sent them a candy basket, a miserable candy basket. Too funny. They obviously didn't get the insult. Any reporter with gumption would have sent it back.
I specially liked the comment from a veteran reporter who simply said something along the lines of "just do your job, write your stories but be aware that they [the pols] will always lie in wait for you. Do you think the readers care?"
