August 17, 2000 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Business News From The Thai Press Friday Dow Jones Newswires Hong-Kong-based Hutchison Telecommunications Investment Ltd., has acquired a 49% stake in unlisted Tawan Mobile Telecom Co., operator of the CDMA mobile phone system, the Nation reports. Hutchison plans to invest around 18 billion baht ($1=THB40.719) in the company over the next five years.
