>>> So when exactly is he coming back? <<<
I'm really tempted to answer you, Cliff. But, since every other one of your posts slides back into the old "whiney-skeptic" groove, I invite you to do exactly what the rest of us do......
Dial (949) 252-2180, ask to speak to Albert, pose your query, then compare the answer (if Albert recognizes you as a stockholder) to the approximate dates I have suggested.
Dollars to donuts, I believe I'm fairly close - and barring business-driven schedule changes, or perhaps travel-related jet-lag/illness, it's close enough for government work.
It's totally irrelevant in the great scheme of things, as long as he shows up on 07DEC - hopefully holding a handful of new contracts!
With my laptop and a telco port or cellphone, I can do my job out of the back of someplace as basic as a WW2 Dodge PowerWagon (M.A.S.H.) van anywhere in the world. I'm sure that Dan is similarly equipped. So, as long as the financial reports and news precede the meeting (or at least are provided same-day), does it matter?
If I had to attend a meeting 1/2-way around the globe, I'd fly out/back two days early to adjust to the travel hassles. But - if it was a jam-up crisis - a minute last flight on the Concorde would suffice and I would make do. Regardless, the job would get done.
You see, I've always looked to someone like Lee Iacocca as an example. It would certainly be nice if those whom will neither lead, follow, nor post anything of value, would follow his third-position advice.
