I agree.. much of the NASDAQ listing will have been discounted into the price already. Until it actually happens however there is still some risk... so I don't think it had been fully discounted.

Toronto investors aren't into inet stocks to a great extent either. There are very few companies here that fall purely into that category and bid.com is the only true inet retailer. Given a lack of exposure and relatively conservative investors bid.com's p/e ration isn't even close to NASDAQ traded inet firms. I think that once NASDAQ traders do their DD that they'll find that bid.com is a bargain! This is something I don't think has been discounted into the price already.

I am also very confident that in conjunction with the NASDAQ listing, that the company has made certain that their Q1 earnings release will be very positive. If not, I think they would have stalled the listing... since it is in their best for the share price to go up. Listing with NAS and then releasing crummy Q1 earnings would have been a disaster - and I think management has already proven they aren't fools. While I have heard second hand remarks about the president implying a strong Q1 in an interview, I haven't actually seen it validated... but even without the second hand gossip I believe that we'll see a good step up in Q1 revenue (if not earnings). The company has greatly broadened its offerings and there are links to it all across the net.

Assuming that Q1 is good and the p/e ratio becomes reflective of an inet stock.. then I personally believe that we'll see bid.com going on the acquisition trail. Either vertically so that they can get a greater share of the profit pie, or horizontally to achieve critical internet mass... (this is all just my opinion).

In any event, I believe that this company has great long term potential and I think once USA investors are exposed to the company they will begin to share this view as well. This will happen... it just may not happen overnight... especially with all the turmoil currently going on .... but that is OK because I'm in for the longer haul.
