Flycast Servers Will Reside in Concentric's Portion of a New Washington D.C.-Based Equinix Facility, the First Internet Business Exchange Center Optimized for Scalability and Network Reliability

(Nasdaq: CNCX - news), a leading provider of Internet solutions for small- and medium-sized businesses, today announced it has been selected by Flycast Communications Corporation (Nasdaq: FCST - news), the leading provider of Web-based direct response advertising solutions, to provide secure, high-performance data center services for the Flycast Network, an online advertising network which serves more than one billion ad impressions to over 25 million unique visitors each month. This solution gives Flycast the network infrastructure they need to effectively monitor and analyze the performance of various advertising campaigns, drawing on the power of the Internet to deliver ROI-based advertising results.
As part of the 2-year deal, Concentric will provide optimized Internet bandwidth and a controlled co-location infrastructure for eight racks of Flycast servers, enabling Flycast to reliably deliver its Web-based advertising services via Concentric's ATM-based network. Engineered to ensure low latency, high throughput, and improved performance, the Concentric network will provide Flycast with the network capacity necessary to support real-time monitoring and analysis of advertising campaign results.
