DEM IMPLOSION ALERT: McCaskill, Menendez, Cantwell Are Exposed

By Katie MacGuidwin
GOP.com Blog

September 8, 2006: Tuesday, Claire McCaskill, the Democrat Candidate challenging Senator Jim Talent of Missouri, said “George Bush let people die on rooftops in New Orleans because they were poor and because they were black" during a meeting where Missouri Dems were discussing how they would approach the upcoming statewide elections. Then on Wednesday she was caught touting a vote she never cast – because she wasn’t even serving in the legislature when she claims to have cast it.

Late last night the news broke that a large-scale Federal investigation will be launched into the questionable financial practices of New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez, after it was revealed he was accepting $3,000 every month in rent from a group for which he was also working to get millions in federal funding.

And today we hear from the Seattle Post-Intelligencer that “Washington Sen. Maria Cantwell helped arrange more than $11 million in federal money in the past year for projects benefiting clients of a lobbyist who is advising her re-election campaign and still owes her money from a personal loan.”

We are watching what is sure to be only the beginning of the unraveling of Dem candidates as the elections near – stay tuned for more downfalls.
