NPR's Daniel Schorr spoke the other day concerning Saddam's fear of the Kurds and Shia.... He quoted a New Republic article that was an accounting by one of Saddam's top chemical experts..... the Chem guy stated that he and his team were Never able to produce a stable form of ricin from castor beans... additionally... most of their work was not up to par..on the other forms of WMD Saddam..not wanting his enemies..near (Kurds-Shia) and far (The US)... to know...kept this info Top Secret If anyone has a subscription to the The New Republic the article is called....
