John,
What your asking is for shorts to surrender. I was always under the belief some short interest was good for a stock just for that reason. What we don't know is why they are short? Stradle is possible? Anyways, times article was great news to me! the world is getting to know Agouron now and we'll see what happens tomorrow. it should be up first thing due to article "markup".
