Hi Stingray: Look at url below , just click on it.
stocksmart.com

--------------
After you get there you can back out the sym AOL and put in another,
if you want to look up some others..
When you check ownership check in all 3 of the places..
Now this is mostly dated way back to june, so not all of it
is up to date..BUT there is one more trick..when you get to
the mutual fund..and after your in it..on the left you can
click on the fund name, this brings up the fund and much of
that data is more up to date..it gives you their top 50
holdings..and generlly when they bought or sold what.
Like I say the info is not all up to date, but it's a help,
BTW looking at funds all day..and the NAVS on the ones
weighted 35% or better in tech..are mostly down since the
1st of the year..some of them down considerable..it looks
like the tech sector is in a down trend and they are picking
off stocks one at a time..none of the fund managers are talking
about this down turn since the 1st..its sort of broad based in
the tech sector..don't look too good..thoes funds that did real
good last year are getting hit the hardest..how long it will
last I don't know..but people that went into an agressive
growth fund in DEC..if it was a 5% load have lost from 10%
to 15% since the 1st of the year ( counting the front load )
funds in energy and finance have done much better.
I hear the geeks on CNBC talking up small caps..but man the
small cap mutuall funds are not fairing to well..the small
investor will hear about this in another two or three weeks,
then maybe a bigger drop..( and time to buy back in )
after they pull out..so if you start hearing of a lot of people
pulling out of the funds, give them a week or so. then re-enter.
But best you look at that url and make up your own mind,
I expected AOL to tank before now..so don't let me be the
infulence on any desion u mke, maybe to get you to look at
stuff give me some feed back..of your ideas..some of mine can
be all wet at times..thats why I come on SI..to get feed back,
and have people cause me to look at stuff I never thought of..
but I always look for my self..
BTW I see no merit in the AOL , PISX thing or rumor..and think it
was just hype..getting passed around..BNN would look like a more
suitable merger..but I don't see that happening either..but
BNN did get an increase in the amout of work they are going to
do for ANS..this has me scatching my head as I see a strong
AT&T conection to BNN,...just how deep AT&T is involved in all
this I can't guess, but I'l wager they got their fingers in it
some how..damm I need to look up more on TALK..too..as they are
not a real telco..but a reseller for AT&T..so here agine I see
AT&Ts fingers in the pie..that TALK deal will come home to some
investors fairly soon.
it's fishy as all get out..how some reseller with 37 employess,
is going to sell..AT&T LD service via AOL..and that this is going
to be AOLs salvation . ?? I think it's more a trip rope..& were in heavens name is AOL going to come up with the dough for this big budget they have ?...if they married BNN..with a stock deal..that would help out BNN..and in effect make AOL going to the public well, in a round about way..any way you can bet AT&T has their greedy
little eyes on the cable of both ANS and BNN..can they steal it ?
