Intel made most of that money on CPUs for PCs and the rest on Flash. On all the rest they lost their butt. The bottom line for sure is impressive so let's agree on that. Why don't you take a look on what Intel paid for Level One and later for Giga in Copenhagen? Both now (a major) part of their current networking division.
