t2K - I didn't dissect M.D's statements like delphic proclamations - I think it fair to say most people out there took them as v. bullish. You're probably right in your distinctions, but I'm afraid most missed it, judging by comments I've heard (unscientific sample<g>).

As to MSFT - look at how MSFT trades... the sudden eruptions up etc. Yes, being out of MSFT is a greater risk than being in. Still, I'd trade it while establishing a position - I think it prudent to lower your average cost to 74 *at least*, if not 67.
