Thanks Franz. Yes, I do recall that the issues arose during the period when Fremont was acting up.

You say that you watched a streaming video sporting event (the most difficult type to capture with trueness), and it was pretty good? That's very encouraging, to say the least. Would you happen to know how "loaded" your system is with other users, or some general characterization of where you stand on overall segment utilization? I know that that sounds like a lot to ask, and I'd surely understand if you don't have that information.

My interest in these matters at this point stems from Home's recent agreements with certain other entities to do webcasting, and other forms of streaming video. It almost suggests that they have some other media form in mind, such as Satellite or possibly other forms of fiber-related architectures with non-cableco entities. Only surmising on my part which I can't support. Speculating, that's all.
