The lawnmower burns about 1/10 of a gallon of gasoline per hour. If the car burns 5 gallons on the trip it will produce 50 times as much CO2 as using the lawnmower for 1 hr. How about putting this silly proposition to rest. Put some perspective on this. How many of these lawmowers are in existence? How many miles are driven on these lawnmowers? How many cars are there? How many miles are driven in these cars? Sheesh.
