Gene: My take on this geopoltical concerns is to IGNORE IT ALL. Some CNBC asswipe gave the 9/11 excuse this morning and, with all due respect to those that lost their lives, it does not matter to the market. The market doesn't care about it or the geopolitical threats going forward. They are always out there anyway. Yeah, big worry about it all with a VIX print of 26.5 the other day and with a VXN close at its lowest level yesterday since last May yesterday. Lot's of worry out there --- not. What a joke.
