no problem. I use it because I can get grip on sales at least with some inference much easier than I can on earnings. Less assumptions, less guesswork, more "normalized" components, better and faster decisions. For that reason I like this valuation. Thank You for digging up the source of this. I was intreagued by a Motley Fool piece of info on that - which I found exceptionally useful. Sorry that I lost the link somewhere. Another point: Sales are more easitly available and are valid even in situations of corporate restructuring, acquisitions and IPOs. if You can't get a handle on sales directly, you could do some inference on market growth, even use forecast data by IDC, VLSI research, ZiffDavies and others. For me it's a tool easy to comprehend and easy to use. Recently, today I bought into L-3 Comm (NYSE: LLL) because of a PSR of 0.65 while net margin of 5-6%..
