Daimler-Benz is committed to the Ballard design down from the top. Just these days Juergen Schrempp, head of DB, committed the company to a Oct. 1998 A-class fuel cell prototype on a Japanese(?) trade show. They consider using an onboard methanol reformer to facilitate the existing infrastructure, though I don't know whether the prototype will be hydrogen or methanol based.

ERC looks interesting. I think I'll buy some shares soon. If fuel cell technology proves itself to be viable in either market we will see a broader coverage of other fuel cell companies in the coming years. There is lot of potential in several markets to fuel several cells...companies...shares.
