VSE Achieves ISO 9001 Quality Standard Registration
  ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 10 /PRNewswire/ -- VSE reported today that its quality management system has been certified by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance, Ltd., an internationally recognized third party registrar for registration to ISO 9001.  The scope of VSE's registration reads as follows:  
  "Provision of project management, engineering,  
  prototyping, and logistics services;  
  Provision of engineering personnel services for postal systems."
  The quality registration is for specified VSE business units in Alexandria, Virginia; the Ships Division in Chesapeake, Virginia; and the VSS Division at Patuxent River, Maryland.
  VSE Chairman and CEO Don Ervine said achieving ISO 9001 registration was one of the company's strategic goals for 1998.  "Our employees did a great job in achieving this registration.
