Nancy I do not see USRX as being a big threat to MOT. The modem area is very fast growing area and will be for a long time. USRX is largely in this area and has done a great job! The stock price is proof of their ability to earn good profits. Although I have not followed USRX closely they appear to be keeping up with the lastest and best both in the analog and digital aspects on modems. This is why I like USRX. Motorola has a great cable modem called cybersurfer which is getting good reviews. This may hurt USRX but not to any great amount because the field is growing so fast and there is room for many companies to make good money, at least for sveral years. USRX is more of a pure play on modem technology(including ISDN technology). Motorola modem division will only contribute a small amount to their total business. I like MOT because of its diversity in technology and their great track record. I like USRX because of their EPS growth(>50%) and leadership that they have shown over the past 2 year. This leadership is not going away tomorrow. I think EPS for MOT will be on target and this will help the whole technology sector on Tuesday.
