I agree. Peaceful assembly is what is protected. Rioting is not. And much as I hate to say it, you have to be concerned for the safety of the President <g> and others in the vicinity where all the violence occurred. reasonable restrictions on the right to peacefully assemble don't bother me and considering what I saw from yesterday's "assembly", this seems perfectly reasonable. I also understood it was only a small area near the site of the conference which was blockaded. JLA
