So the Jalbert guy is a big baddie to you, well fine ... personally i think he's not too bright, i wouldn't pass through the US to save a hundred loonies on an airline ticket, it's not worth the hassle when you have to enter to board at Sea-Tac, or change planes at LAX ... Japan Airlines flies direct Hongcouver to el DF, that's the way to go, it's often only fifty loonies more anyway ...... to save a few pennies on your subsidised fuel down there, no way ... but suppose people of this little town decided to remove the risk, and blocked the gas station's driveway 50cm from the US border - who loses? ... clearly, the gas station operator, and the locals who had access to cheap gas and have now lost it ..... still, it is the logical thing to do in the circumstances, until folks like Snowshoe get some say in the US again, over pseudo-folks like you |
