Jim-
Don't know why stock hasn't moved. I did receive a Schwab company research report on ACN a few days ago. It mentioned an order a few months back from Diagnostic Health Services of 22 systems Aspen series machines and noted it was the largest order in ACN's history. S&P has a three star rating (hold) on ACN and puts their Earnings and Divident Ranking at B-, two notches below average. In the Valuation category, the report noted ACN has having five year annual growth in revenues of 1%, as compared with 10% for its industry (Scientific Instruments). It also noted a book value of $6.91. On 7/17 a Jonathan Osgood of Alex Brown upgraded ACN from "buy" to "strong buy". For the three months ending 4/30/97 institutions owned 43.2% of ACN, while company insiders were net sellers. As of 7/24, the report showed nine analysts following the company: one had a hold, three were "buy/hold" and five had a "hold". I recall seeing in Monday's IBD that some firm (Bear/Stearns) upgraded its recommendation on ACN.
