Hi Robert, I agree with you regarding radarsats,EM's etc...We need DRILL RESULTS. As for Australian Oilfields i just picked up more at $1.75 to average down slightly. Still very positive on this one but it seems to be taking it's time. I went to there Dog and Pony show in Vancouver and they said they would be drilling just more than one hole, but that hasn,t materialized as of yet. The first hole missed and they're not drilling again until December. I talked to David Matheson last week and he said that this week should be huge for the comapny but again haven't seen it yet.PP to close tommorow so hopefully there should be news out soon.Consolidated Shoshoni is a little disappointing to say the least. I would have thought that they would have made some sort of a sustained run-up with the recent press and drilling results from Columbia. Oh well, guess we'll have to wait for spring thaw! Condor will be OK and think there might be some improvement of share price fairly soon as Indonesia may start to heat up. PFC apparently has two concessions in MALI and Senegal and will starting a work program soon. John Kaiser recommends it as a bottomfish buy. They too are closing a finance at .55 cents to net 1.5 million dollars. I guess I'll find out more tommorrow. I find this year the most difficult to pick stocks for the following year. My theory is to figure out where I think the hot spots are gonna be and pick up some of the cheaper stocks. For example, I think South America is going to be hot this year so I'll try to buy two or three with S.A. holdings like, Athlone Resources- They have four properties in Bolivia and trade in the low .30's. I think there might be an area play here as Essex,Intl broadlands(lundin's), Reward Mining (frank Lang), Athlone all have property and are going to be or already are working on them. One thing in common with all these companies is, Frank Giustra of Yorkton Securities , has done private placemnts with all of them-the lastest being Athlone which should close at the end of November. What is your area play for next year??
