PB, Its good to see that Randgold has a systematic rating system which they are using to objectively narrow down their investment choices. Personally, I would prefer an African mining company to have its mines spread over the continent rather than concentrated in one country even if that one country is South Africa. Because the political risk would be more diversified I think it would command a higher PE ratio.
