Freeze frame problem with Win95

Had this problem frequently while step-daughters visiting...they would leave programs running then go off to play at something else - the screen would 'freeze' and I would have to re-boot

Had same experience on Macs - screen would freeze sometimes if I forgot work-in-progress (lose everything on re-boot,of course)...wonder if shortening time for screensaver or power standby would help?

PS Great thread! Nice to know I'm not the only one out there with barely a 'click' about computers, even though I spend the better part of every day using one!
