Short term trader here. So maybe you can all tell me how nuts I am for buying April 40 calls. You can compare this company to lots of the other biggies and it looks terrific on a PE basis. So, are newbies like me going to get screwd, why is nobody buying T at these prices? (Yes I've heard about the temporary lower earnings--so what, are these not still good earnings for a $35 dollar stock. I was looking at Wrigley today after seeing an article on Barrons.com--now there's a pricey stock. Sure hope the pizza boxes work, I've got no reason to stay with GTE. Oh, and here's a good one. GTE sends me this postcard offering to give me 14 cents a minute for all my long distance--sorry GTE, AT&T is a dime a minute, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (you just have to ask and sign up for five bucks a month). Buy this stock darn it! I still have not made any money with options and am starting to think I'm an idiot:)
