I've found my computer does the rapid pinging sound when I've triggered a nest of imbedded cookies. I especially run into this when I send my cookie file to recycle bin and then right click empty recycle bin. Anyone else have this experience? When my system "accepts" cookies, i get a muted clicking sound until they are all installed. Is this the flip side? Like this person, my system only started doing this after a re-formated hard drive experience and complete re-install.
