so far, it looks like Prechter could be right after all...he missed the PoG top by 20 bucks or so, but then during that final rally the gold stocks had already stopped going up anyway. it's unbelievable that the XAU is sitting at 63.5 points with the PoG at 330, but it does make sense if the PoG is set to crumble further. note that the gold stocks have successfully predicted the PoG for over 3 years now, without exception. unless they reverse pronto one has to assume that another down leg is imminent. 325-330 is important support...a 'must hold' area...if it fails the bull is most likely dead imo. of course sentiment is presumably so shot by now that it has a chance to hold...although not if the gold stocks are to be believed.
it would certainly be funny if this post marked the low, but somehow i'm not too optimistic about that.
