I "bolded" the key line on the Senate. I had not realized the 30/20 split from 2000.

We both know it's not going to work quite that way. The 30 Bush states from 00 are not going to produce 60 Rep senators. For the usual variety of reasons. Nor with the 20 Gore states produce 40 Dem senators. Maine and Pa come to mind immediately.

Anyway, just to take a very cheap shot, no one should take Grover Norquist seriously anyway.
