RESEARCH ALERT-UBS downgrades Altera to "neutral"

NEW YORK, Dec 10 (Reuters) - UBS on Friday reduced its rating on Altera Corp. (ALTR.O: Quote, Profile, Research) to "neutral" from "buy."
UBS said Altera's market share gains in some product segments will be less than expected. The brokerage cut the chip maker's 12-month price target to $22 from $27.
