In retrospect, I wonder if the reason SDLI preannounced record earnings this quarter was because they knew that GLW and JDSU were actively pursuing them, and they wanted to drive their stock price up to increase the buyout price! I think it's much more likely they knew they had information that was material and to withold it would make them vulnerable to charges of mismanagement. Pat
