The San Fran investors meeting is NOT the annual meeting, which someone said AXC IR is holding in May, tho where I don't know for sure yet. This sounds like they'll genuinely be at a investors conference or an institutional gathering- not sure which. Actually can't see them turning out for a small fry investors conference, so assume its some institutional thing. Also re: AXC's reluctance to use wire services for many of their news releases, I assume its because of the $. I remember from the Startronix SI thread folks there said all it took to get a news release was $500 to PR, Dow Jones or whoever else, accompanied by your news release. Assume Bramson is careful enough with the $ he doesn't spring for them. Do remember from AXC IR a year ago when it was making its first moves back above $5, that Karen at IR proudly proclaimed their "no hype" policy at AXC. However, it seems they're too tight lipped to the investment community. Taking a lot longer for this story to get out than it could or should. We can thank them they're not a target for Lerach or other greedy lawyers, but neither are they on any institutions buying list now!
