I hope you are right about PRLN showing some results in 6 months. My
own gut feeling is that there could be a good market for protease
inhibitors being sold over the counter. From what I have heard, those
drugs can save your life if you have AIDS. I just heard that old
Magic Johnson has reduced the level of HIV in his body to the level of
"undetectable". This disease is becoming something that people can
live with if they take care of their body, take a combination of anti-
viral drugs, and keep a positive attitude. Further, the FDA will have
a very tolerant attitude toward companies like this. I have noticed
that they allow powerful hormones such as DHEA, and melatonin to be
sold over the counter. If they allow for the dubious use of those two
hormones, why would they put up a fuss over a protease inhibitor?
