ShellIconCache is a hidden file. To be able to see it in Windows 98, load either My Computer or Windows Explorer, pull down the View menu, and select the Folder Options command. On the View tab, click the Show All Files option button in the Advanced Settings list, and then click OK.To view hidden files in Windows 95, click Options on the View menu in Windows Explorer, click Show All Files, and then click OK.
