I could see that Windows may not have been "as good for most people" (I always preferred having access to the command line over the "point and click" of the Mac/Windows), but I could also see that the price point for PCs running Windows was going to eat Apple's lunch, and it did. Apple could have been a major contender, simply through major, early price cuts and licensing their OS to clone makers.... way back then... FWIW Andy
