Update~~ Offering information and transaction capabilities, SmartServ Online is at your service. The company provides device-independent information services (financial news, stock quotes, weather) and transaction services (e-commerce, m-commerce, stock trading) to customers who bundle the services under their own labels and sell them to their own clients via wireless phones, PCs, and PDAs. Virtually all of SmartServ's fiscal year 2000 revenue came from Data Transmission Network, which held an exclusive license for several of the company's products. That license, however, has since been terminated, enabling SmartServ to market these products worldwide. Chairman and CEO Sebastian Cassetta owns about 15% of the company.
