Mr. Doug Wolters reports
Commonwealth Energy has received confirmation that on Thursday, July 27, 2000, a FRAC
unit will be on location to perform the treatment on the Bossier formation in the company's
BEDSOLE No. 1 well. The BEDSOLE No. 1 well is located on the company's 700-acre Bedsole
unit in Leon county in Texas.
Following the completion of the FRAC treatment, a 24-hour flow test will be conducted on
the BEDSOLE No. 1 well and the results of this test will be announced.
The expected initial flow rate from the Bossier formation in the BEDSOLE No. 1 well is
between four and six million cubic feet of gas per day according to the engineering report
performed by the firm William M. Cobb & Associates Inc., Worldwide Petroleum
Consultants. The engineering report also states natural gas reserves in the BEDSOLE No. 1
well to be 38.3 billion cubic feet of natural gas. Commonwealth is the operator of and holds a
50-per-cent working interest in the BEDSOLE No. 1 well and the 700-acre Bedsole unit.

If this well tests anywhere close to there expectations, we are in the money big time.
