Frank, as I have posted before, Bill Larson has been very good at this kind of "marketing". Eubanks and his co. has been on the defensive sine the beginning of this year. It is said that Eubanks did not shake hands with Larson when they met in one occasion, which Larson is very proud to talk about (See what I can do to this guy in just a year since I took over McAfee!) Virus testing is very subjective and can be manipulated easily. From my earlier posts I have quoted SYMC being better early this year. Since then MCAF has improved and fixed their problems. I would say both products are very good at fixing virus now. But speed wise, NAV is the fastest in the world. MCAF is not even in the second place. That said, the marketing is everything. I don't think Symantec PR is LOUD and AGGRESSIVE enough! -Keith
