Lots of freakin dollar votes that are not going Obama's way.

I was hopeful that Obama was actually an intelligent, thoughtful and reasonable guy. Either he doesn't understand logic and basic common sense, or he is intentionally dismantling the country (with the help of congress).

Obviously, I have changed my "hopeful" views for the economy and this country. I don't have a downside target for the market. We just need a capitulation day to tell us when to buy.

World War I started in 1914.
World War II started in 1939.

the 8 to 10 year period prior to the start of the wars were known for economic ugliness

With what is going on in Iran and the mideast in general and all indications that Europe is generally fucked economically even more than the U.S., and with the U.S. doing everything it can to destroy itself, I think that the "have nots" are going to see an opportunity to stick it to the "haves" and the religious zealots will see an opportunity to forcefully impose their ideologies on their neighbors.

If the US stood strong, I think we would have had a chance to get out of this. But I think that we started throwing in the towel a while ago....even before Obama took office. Obama just seems anxious to attack every sector of our economy.

I guess I have become the ultra bear when I am predicting WW III.
