You miss the point.

Banks and insurance companies are already converted, as is any business which routinely deals with financial assets. If they weren't, you wouldn't be able to take out a mortgage, car loan, or purchase a CD today. These companies were the first to plan for and fix the problem. Banks were issuing 30-year mortgages in the 1970s which had 21-century maturity dates! This is nothing new for them.

I'm watching CA, in particular, very closely here. Friday's plunge and today's weak recovery just screams opportunity here. ZITL soaring again this morning. My advice: take your ZITL windfall profits and put them into MSFT and CA. Then you'll get both the hype and the meat of the y2k opportunity!
