i understood one man with a gun and a vet who came running towards the shooting who was fighting people running from it. he was unarmed.. called the shooter a couple off color names, telling shooter to put down gun..shooter finally opened up on him as he dove behind some wood , got hit and some splitters from shots into the wood.. he i think told another guy to shoot who had direct aim at the shooter but the guy froze. the woman came around the corner towards the shooting, i believe she warned him to lay down his gun , he turned and fired at her , she started firing while walking directly to him. Running towards the sound of gunfire is bred into every Green Beret. Those were heroic civilians who likely did not have anything close to that training.
