<<Here's a thought for the "MM conspiracy theorists" out there. The MM's drive up the price of the stock through heavy trading volume on Wed. and Thurs. of last week in order to reduce their inventory in preparation to absorb Novell employee stock options at a savings. They let it drift down on Friday during normal trading volume and buy employee shares who are selling "at market" at 12.5 - 12.75 today. Huge savings!>>

Regarding your thoughts on the MM conspiracy hypothesis (I'd keep theories reserved for more robust/proven hypotheses), how would the MM's simply "drive up the price of the stock through heavy trading volume on Wed. and Thurs of last week"?? I mean, who's putting the dough out on the table buying chunks of NOVL lifting it into the 13-13 1/2 price range to begin with? I would say it was just some very interested buyers, and today's action was biased by options overhang and possibly the release of employees options as well. Though if I was an employee of NOVL who knew what was to come (products, NW5, etc), I would probably hold onto most of my shares.
