I seldom day trade, but your practice of placing stops that are comfortable for you seems to be the way many of the successful traders work. But most importantly is that you live with your stops and don't waiver. I know of some traders who enter a stock, have it dip and then it becomes a long term investment because the loss is too great. So much for a day trade in those cases. Mark
