Mike Barnicle (and this has been echoed by some Democrats) makes the point that most US casualties are troops in unarmored humvees. He says that the relation of unarmored humvees to armored is 10-1. I don't know that he is correct on that specific ratio, but suppose he is close. Why wouldn't we be supplying more armored vehicles? I'd hate to make a Les Aspin comparison here....
