This is so funny. CNBC is running the netscape rumor as the lead
story every half hour. I'm watching a realtime chart of the
stock, and about 3 minutes after they re-state the rumor,
tons of little orders come in and the price jumps. Then big
sell orders come in right behind them and force the price
down.. (short sellers or just plain selling)

Then half an hour later, CNBC repeats the rumor and the
cycle begins again with fresh suckers. The charts and
CNBC coincide EXACTLY!

And who says CNBC can't move markets..

reminds me of the old Dan Dorfman days.. didn't he
leave under a cloud of investigation for hyping stocks
that his friends owned?
