je: Welcome here, and as you know part of the deal is that I get to ask questions and you get to answer them. My curiosity was spurred by some comments in a news release posted on Kitco a day or so ago (not the one below) to the effect that Litex had decreased the amount of pgms in applications such that the cost of the contained pgms went down to $5 per unit from $50. (Now I can't find the urls.) My general question is what pgms are used in which fuel cell and vehicle catalytic converter ('autocatalyst') applications, what companies are the leaders in these fields, and what is the future for Pt and Pd in this technological area?
