I think there is a certain amount of truth in the sunshine theory. Thanks to alternate media & the internet more & more folks are learning the real truth which is causing some backlash. I don't think we are at any tipping point yet where a large portion of the populace is aware of what the MSM/DNC have regularly done for years/decades though.
Due to this I still believe that the Big Lie theory still has far too much success even today.
While we here in America have more freedoms, particularly regarding speech, the Big Lie is less likely to sway a vast majority of the populace. Our gov't cannot silence dissenting views, unlike Nazi Germany when the Big Lie was gov't policy. Unfortunately, the MSM still is the sole source of "newz" for a vast majority of Americans. And as we know the MSM is the media arm of the DNC, so we are subjected to their leftist, BDS inflicted world view with only a small fraction of the media countering it.
In the end we still have many, many millions of Americans who are regularly swayed by the lies, disinformation campaigns, calumny & perfidy regularly perpetrated by the DNC & MSM. If it didn't work, or there really was an overwhelming backlash from it, they wouldn't continue to engage in it like they still do.
And that's where I have a problem. What they are doing is dead wrong. It is immoral, unethical & sometimes illegal to the point of doing real harm to national security. And it does still work in a big way despite the fact that some folks do come to learn the real truth.
Look at it this way. If the MSM's calumny didn't still work quite well & the backlash of exposing it their to the masses (sunshine theory) really was effective, there'd be no need for this thread. In fact, this thread would have had shown a fairly lengthy series of instances where leftist lies were successfully exposed & debunked on a national scale. And a vast majority of these debunked lies would be reported widely by the MSM themselves.
Instead, this thread continues to document multiple bogus polls every week right along side a relentless string of leftist spin, calumny & treachery on the front pages of our nations "newz"papers. |
